There was good hospitality at Hayesthorpe Hotel Croydon. The rooms were clean, although not modern but very good value for money.

We travelled to Twickenham for the Heineken Cup final and just needed somewhere clean and functional within 45 minutes of Twickenham for a couple of nights. The hotel was what we required. Clean, basic, good access to Twickenham and the owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop at the end of the road and we could make East Croydon station in 15 minutes. Plenty of places to eat and drink locally all within a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi. We didn't have breakfast (which was an optional extra) as the timing was a little early after our late night exertions. It is fine for a 2 star hotel and I'd have no problems booking Hayesthorpe Hotel Croydon again.
