If you want to stay somewhere truly different then try the former home of Samuel Palmer, owner of the Huntley and Palmer biscuit empire! This substantial Victorian building has been tastefully converted and many original features have been retained for your enjoyment. You can book anything from a private ensuite room at Palmers Lodge to a bed in a dormitory that sleeps up to 14 people. From Swiss Cottage tube station exit onto Avenue Road and turn to your right. Start walking and turn right again onto College Crescent. You will find Palmers Lodge on your left as you walk up this crescent. From Finchley Road tube station exit onto Finchley Road and turn to your right. Start walking and then turn left into College Crescent. You will spot Palmers Lodge on your right as you continue walking.

What a good deal! I have backpacked around many countries and I have stayed in several hostels in London, but Palmers Lodge is the best value. The ambience, staff and facilities are different from other hostels. It is nice experience for all

A very nice old-fashioned house with dedicated staff and good working facilities and car park - perfect altogether. There is even an ATM at the reception. Congratulations!

Very enjoyable stay, initially daunted by the size of the room, but the design allows fantastic comfort and privacy. Facilities both modern and immaculate. Would recommend Palmers Lodge over any other hostel to friends and family

This was a great hostel for my 4 nights in London. It wasn't in Central London but so easy to get into. The tube station isn't far away. The rooms were really nice and very clean. Breakfast was ok and the bar was a great way to meet people. I enjoyed my stay at Palmers Lodge and I will be back in the future.
