The single twin and double rooms at Polden Court offer cheap accommodation in Bath, especially considering the fact that they all have ensuite bathrooms with bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. You will even have a TV and telephone in your room. The only thing you have to share is the kitchen with dining area. Here you will find a cooker, fridge freezer, food cupboards, an iron and ironing board, and a kettle.

If you prefer you can venture the short distance to the centre of Bath to experience the wide range of restaurants, bars, traditional pubs, and clubs of this university city.

Polden Court is situated on the University of Bath’s campus in Claverton Down. This is a suburb of Bath, approximately 1 ½ miles away from the centre. Nearby Claverton Manor is home to the American Museum. Regular from the campus will take you to the centre of Bath, a world heritage site, where you can visit the Roman Baths, Therme Bath Spa (Britain’s only thermal spa) and the Jane Austen centre. You should also take time to visit Royal Crescent to admire the fabulous Georgian architecture.

Whilst staying at Polden Court, you will have to bring your own cutlery and crockery, although bed linen and towels are provided. You can park on the campus – you have to purchase a parking permit which costs £3 per week. There are rooms available that have been specially adapted for disabled visitors. • By Train : The closest train station to Polden Court is Bath Spa, approximately 1 ½ miles away.
• By Car : Exit at junction 18 of the M4 and follow the signs for the A46 to Bath. Then follow the signs for the A36 Warminster. Shortly After you pass Bath RFC you need to turn right onto North Road heading towards Claverton Down. You will find Bath University Campus on your left, which is where Polden Court is located.
• By Bus : Catch the number 18 bus which departs from opposite Bath Spa Railway Station. This will take you directly to Polden Court.
