Stay here and you’ll be close to the city centre, the bus station, train station and the M4. The students won’t be here as they’ll have gone home on vacation, but the campus bars and the Taliesin Theatre will still be available for you to frequent. There are single, twin and double rooms available so whether you’re travelling alone, with a friend or with a partner there is a room to accommodate you! Swansea has a host of high street shops as well as Wales’ largest indoor covered market for you to browse through. On warm days you can go to the beaches of Swansea Bay. The beautiful Gower Peninsula, which is within easy travelling distance, is a tourist hot spot.

If there aren’t any available during the time when you want to stay here, there are two car parks bordering the Swansea University Campus. The reception at Preseli has a safe for small valuables. Directions
	•	By Train	:	Swansea High Street Train Station is only a short bus ride or taxi journey away from Preseli on the Swansea University Campus.
	•	By Car	:	M4 Westbound – exit at junction 42 and get on the A483 to Swansea. Once you reach Swansea get on the A4067 towards The Mumbles which is Oystermouth Road. Once you have passed Brynmill Lane on your right, turn right into the Swansea University Campus where Preseli is located. M4 Eastbound – exit at junction 47 and head for Swansea on the A483. Follow the signs for High Street as you approach the city centre. Once you reach Wind Street turn right onto the A4067. This is Oystermouth Road heading for The Mumbles. Once you pass Brynmill Lane on your right, turn right into the Swansea University Campus. This is where you will find Preseli.
	•	By Bus	:	Once you get to Swansea High Street Station go out of the main exit and catch a bus that takes you to the Quadrant bus station. From here the buses in bays 1, 2 or 3 will take you to the Swansea University Campus where Preseli is situated.

Great stay, fantastic location in between Swansea and The Mumbles. We had a sea view which is always a bonus! Breakfast Buffet very impressive, a friendly and safe place to stay. The University is set in very pleasant surroundings. A boating lake one side and a large park the other side.

The location and the breakfast were great! The shower could have been a bit better though. A thing that might be worth to mention is that there is a shared kitchen, however it is lacking equipment (probably because the kitchen equipment is property of the students that occupy the rooms during the semesters). Arrival and check-in was arranged OK, everything was sorted out immediatly. Thank you for the service. Kind regards, Melle

The room at Preseli was clean and comfortable. We apprecitead the welcome pack (tea, coffee etc)and the towles and toiletries. However just outside of the hall of residence was littered and messy, as was the lift. There was a pile of duvets in pillows in the corridor of the flat, which was off-putting. On a positive note, breakfast was excellent- a good choice of things; lots of variety and well-cooked.

Good value for money bed and breakfast accommodation. The location is excellent - roughly half way between Swansea city centre and Mumbles. Very good links to both on public transport.
