Directions


	•	By Train	:	Catch a train to Kilmaurs railway station. Alpine Lodge is just a short taxi ride from this station.

	•	By Car	:	Leave the M74 at junction eight and follow the A71 for approximately twenty four miles. Follow the signs for Kilmarnock and Irvine. Once you reach the Moorfield roundabout take the third exit onto the B7064 signposted Kilmarnock and at the next roundabout take the first exit onto the B7081 Kilmarnock Road. Follow the signs for the B7801 for another two roundabouts and you will then see Alpine Lodge on your right.

We were a bit disappointed. The restaurant at the hotel was closed, and there was only one other place in town to eat. Small room. No night tables in room, and only one light in ceiling. Not many places to put/hang our stuff. On the good side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean.
