| The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was at the top of the building which proved interesting on my return from works night out as the stairs are around a turret! Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and the breakfast smelt amazing, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to try it. | |||

| Our stay that the Merchant Lodge was very welcoming. Staff were helpful and accomodating. The rooms were basic, but clean. Was good value for money. The hotel is based near Merchant City so it can be a little noisy at night, however on the upside it is close to all the shops, pubs and clubs. Will definatley book again | |||

| The hotel was as expected - basic but clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very central which was great, however at weekends it is noisy at night due to there being 2 bars just next door. | |||
