The building was built in 1923 to house a bank, but was fully refurbished and opened as a hotel in 2013. The entrance to The Inn On The Mile houses a lively bar, which is popular with locals and tourists alike. 		Check in from: 14:00 GMT Check out by: 11:00 GMT The Inn On The Mile is unsuitable for the elderly or the infirm, as the bedrooms are on three floors above the bar and this 'A' listed building has no lift. There is a privately owned car park five minutes away from The Inn On The Mile. Due to a smoking ban on all public areas in Scotland, all areas of The Inn On The Mile are non-smoking. If booking the "Double or Twin" option, please specify in the "special requests section of the booking form which option you would like.

Directions


	•	By Train	:	Waverley Station is the closest station to The Inn On The Mile. Waverley Station is Edinburgh’s main station and is served by a range of intercity trains.

	•	By Car	:	Exit the M8 at Junction 1 and take the right-hand slip road onto the A720 (The City of Edinburgh Bypass). Continue on this road until you come to Straiton Junction with the A701. Exit the A720 on the slip road and then take the first exit on the roundabout to proceed into Edinburgh. After approximately 3 miles you will come to a roundabout; take the second exit to continue along the A701 (Craigmillar Park). From here you simply need to continue along the A701 as this will become South Bridge, where you will find The Inn On The Mile.

	•	On Foot	:	Leave Waverley Station onto North Bridge, walk right out of the station and continue straight as this road becomes South Bridge. You will soon come to The Inn On The Mile, which is on the left-hand side of the road.

This London hostel is located close to the train station. Hostel converted by the bank, so the appearance of the classical and elegant, the interior is modern and comfortable facilities. The hostel has no elevator, but the waiter took our bags to the second floor. The floor is the hotel bar, so no matter how late you can check in. Very sincerely recommend this hotel

Themed rooms were great! Excellent idea. Was very memorable and made our stay that much more special. We really enjoyed our time in Edinburgh and Bank Hotel was definitely a fine choice

Bank Hotel was in a great location, my husband and I booked a last minute trip to Edinburgh and we were very pleased with what we found. It's very unique and comfortable, we really didn't have any hassles here at all. I've recommended it to family already, we will be back next time for sure

Rooms at Bank Hotel were very clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Breakfast was good and bought a pub meal in the bar / restaurant in the evening which was very good, big portions and inexpensive. Excellent location, Would recommend booking Bank Hotel.
