• By Train : The nearest train station to Ellersly House Hotel is Edinburgh Haymarket. The station is approximately one mile away from the hotel, so it is advisable to take a bus or taxi from the station.
• By Car : Exit the M8 at Junction 1 and take the City Bypass Road North. When you reach the Gogar roundabout, turn right onto the A8. Follow this road for approximately three miles, past Edinburgh Zoo. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights, onto Ellersly Road. We were very comfortable at Ellersly House Hotel. We arrived late (1.00am) and were extremely well treated at this time of the morning, made very welcome. Thank you.

The building is lovely with a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I did eat in the bar and unfortunately the meal was not so good. The room I stayed in was clean but the decor was a little tired.
