Originally had room 106 in the basement. Was very small, smelt musty, hot and could not open window. Managed to get changed for room 208 on first floor, much better, but still in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was ok. However the eggs were overcooked and the baked beans were cold. Would not stay again but ok for a couple of nights

Beds were good, breakfast was good, location was perfect. Heating was terrible, could not shut off, was too hot in the room.

Very well-situated, and bedroom was good size, but "bathroom" was tiny with a pretty poor shower and wc that you had to manoeuvre yourself onto. Basin was in the bedroom. Breakfast was basic and the service was terrible. Probably acceptable for price, but a little more basic than I'd have liked.

Good basic accommodation, clean with convenient locality. Friendly staff. Reception area in need of upgrading to create a better first impression.
