Travelling from the West exit M4 at junction 32, follow signs for city centre (A470) until you reach Gabalfa Interchange (where the A470 crosses the A48). Stay in the left-hand lane and continue onto the roundabout. Take the 4th exit from the roundabout, almost immediately after joining the A48, then take the left lane and prepare to turn left at the first traffic lights, into Excelsior Road. Follow point 1 below.
Travelling from the East exit M4 at junction 29, follow A48(M) westbound. After the 5th turning off the A48 look for signs for “Talybont Student Residence”. After passing under the Gabalfa Interchange (where A470 crosses the A48) take the left lane and prepare to turn left at the first traffic lights into Excelsior Road. Follow point 1 below.
1. At the mini roundabout take the 1st exit, and then take the 1st right (McDonalds is on the left-hand side). Turn almost immediately right again, into Talybont. You will approach security gates. Follow the signs to reception. Reception is located in Southgate House which is situated next to the Social Centre.
If you are using satellite navigation please use CF14 3AT.

(approximately 35 minute walk from station) Exit Cardiff Central Station and walk onto Wood Street. Turn right and then left onto St Mary Street. Continue straight on as it becomes High Street and then turn right onto Duke Street. Follow this street round to the left as it becomes North Road. Continue along this road for a long stretch, until you come to Parkfield Place on your left follow the road down and turn right into Bevan Place, Southgate House for key collection is on your right.

Very uncomplicated and friendly service at Talybont North Residence regarding keys pick-up and return. Friendly contact beforehand (via email). Only critique: Problematic: Payment by VISA from abroad because security digit had to be sent by email (very unsafe/unusual) instead of safe site. Kitchen not used, very hot room. Room itself practical. Good parking
