A typical Single room at Bankside House
|
|
As Bankside House offers single, twin, triple and quad rooms, you can stay here whether you’re travelling alone, with friends, or with family. You will find that most of the bedrooms here have ensuite shower rooms. However if money is tight you can opt for a single room which shares the bathroom with just one other room. Whatever room you choose, you will find a bed, desk and wardrobe inside, as well as really useful amenities like tea and coffee making equipment.

Really great room, location and service. Very impressed by Carmen who was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. Breakfast was great and a good variety available. Was not impressed with the canteen lady who said coffee wasn't allowed to be taken up to my room, despite using my own flask and it making no difference to her at all! Overall a lovely place to stay and it was pleasant and clean. Would definitely recommend Bankside House

Absolutely ideal location for the Tate Modern, The Globe, South Bank and indeed anywhere over into the City. Reception excellent, speedy and friendly. Check in easy. Accommodation exactly as expected for student accommodation rented out but spotlessly clean and a good sized airy room. The view out of the window directly to The Shard was a real bonus although I expect only a few rooms have that view. Plenty of hot water and good sized bathroom. Breakfast was excellent also and overall very good value. Check out dead easy too. I will certainly book Bankside House again.

I stayed for the first time at Bankside House in June. I am very pleased with the hotel. The staff are wonderful. I had to call twice because I had trouble finding it. When I called a member of staff saying I was lost, she was great and very helpful with directions. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends. Only shame is that it is only open between June and October. Such a shame it's not year round..

Very basic (as expected for the type of London accommodation) but an available TV would have been appreciated
