	•	On Foot	:	Royal Guest House is only a 6 minute walk from Hammersmith Tube Station (District, Hammersmith & City and Piccadilly lines) and only 8 minutes from Goldhawk Road Tube Station (Hammersmith & City line). Exit Goldhawk Road Tube Station onto Goldhawk Road, turn right and walk along the road. Turn right onto Shepherds Bush Road and you will find Royal Guest House 2 on the left hand side of this road, just after Sterndale Road.

We were impressed with our stay at Royal Guest House, having read a variety of conflicting reviews. All of the staff members whom we encountered were cheerful, courteous and helpful. We had to check in and pick up a "key" at a different place from where we were actually staying (but it was only a couple of minutes walk from our part of the guest house). Breakfast was also in the building next door. The room was small but well appointed with everything that we needed - tea and coffee making facilities, table, chair, 'fridge. The beds were comfortable and the linen fresh and clean. The en-suite was rather cramped and the door would not close fully. The water was piping hot. Whilst the bedroom was cold when we arrived, we were able to turn on a static radiator and a mobile electric one. Our request for a quiet room was honoured and we could not hear traffic from the road. Breakfast offered a choice of 3 cereals, tinned fruit salad, toast with egg/beans/jam/tea/coffee. Amazing value for money for a convenient place to stay in London: a short walk to Olympia

I stayed here to be near the Shepherds Bush Empire for a gig and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were really clean, the services were top notch, the 24 hour check in was handy (we got in really late on Friday night and they were so helpful) and the location was great – only a five or ten minute walk to our gig, meaning that we didn’t need to get a cab home. The price was pretty incredible for what we got too, and expected much less. Definitely our new London fave

Royal Guest House was warm, quiet, comfortable and convenient to Hammersmith for transport. Good value on TravelStay. Good solid breakfast, but ends at 9 AM so no lie-ins!
