Amhurst Hotel is a simple, but nice budget London hotel, where you get good value for your money. My single room was small, but with all the amenities you would need. Shower was only two steps away. The location of this room was quiet with view on a romantic little garden. The overall location is convenient with easy access to bus and train. But the strong side of the hotel is the friendliness of the staff. I felt at home and welcome at all times and would definitively come back when in London. Only weak point: Internet is not stable inside rooms

I was surprised when I saw my room at Amhurst Hotel. The standard was way above what I expected for the money . It was clean everything was white and fresh. There was tea making, telly, fridge in there. The bathroom was just next door. It was a dry hot day but the open window looked onto a lovely well kept green garden containing tables and chairs or there was a neat clean diningroom attached to the well equipped kitchen. Ok some of it was a bit old but surly it deserves more stars. I am recommending to everyone for the money. And thank you Jim for welcoming me and helping me the find places I needed to go

I was very pleased with the Amhurst Hotel, the only thing that spoiled it was some people banging their door, but apart from that it was great
