		The Traveller's Rest (formerly known as UEA Broadview Lodge) is quite basic, but as it's such an incredibly cheap and central Blackpool hotel, it makes the perfect place to crash after a night in Blackpool's pubs and nightclubs. Families, hen parties, stag parties and groups of football fans are welcome! You'll find the sea front, plus attractions like Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower, really close by. A full English is included in the low room rate! There's a TV lounge where you can meet fellow guests. You can book a double, twin or triple room here, but if you're coming with your family (or in a big party), the rooms that sleep 5-6 people are more suitable. You will find nothing more than beds and tea and coffee making facilities in your room, with shared bathrooms conveniently located close by.

		As The Traveller's Rest is located just off the central Promenade and metres from the seafront in Blackpool, this is a great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of all the action. You'll be really close to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower and the Golden Mile Amusements. You'll also be surrounded by hoards of pubs and nightclubs. It's even a great place to stay if you're coming to see the Blackpool illuminations that get switched on between September and November every year.

Directions
	•	By Train	:	If you travel to Blackpool South Train Station you will only be a short walk away from The Traveller's Rest.
	•	By Car	:	You should travel on the M55 and exit at junction 4. Get onto the A583 towards Blackpool North Shore and follow this road until you reach the traffic lights, where you need to bear left onto the A5073, still heading towards the sea front. When you've passed Blackpool South Train Station on your left you need to turn right into Bolton Road where you will find The Traveller's Rest on your right at numbers 8-10.
	•	On Foot	:	Once you get to Blackpool South Train Station you should exit onto Waterloo Road and turn to your left. Walk along this road until you need to turn right into Bolton Road. Stroll most of the ay along this road and you will find The Traveller's Rest Blackpool at numbers 8-10.

I think this hotel has had a change of management. I stayed at The Travellers Rest last year and it was awful and through desperation, stayed there again this year. Very different scenario. Still not luxurious but friendly and ok place to stay
