• By Train : The nearest mainline station to The Ballantrae Hotel is Waverley Train Station, which is just a short walk away (see By Foot directions below).
• On Foot : To get to The Ballantrae Hotel, leave Waverley Station onto North Bridge and turn left. Continue until you come to the end and turn right onto Waterloo Place. Cross the road straight away and follow Leith Street around to the left. Take an immediate left onto James Craig Walk and continue straight on, as the street becomes Elder Street.
