I had an excellent stay at Royal Hyde Park Hotel. The rooms were clean and refurbished. It's in an excellent location, near Hyde Park and subway stations

The hotel was well situated, the staff friendly and accommodating and when my TV remote did not work they came up immediately with a new remote. I found the hotel was kept clean and clutter free and the continental breakfast was well presented with ample choices. The bedroom was clean and comfortable though they should have provided 2 pillows per guest. The bathroom was well modernised with all comforts, but what I did feel was lacking was a bedside shelf or table. There was nowhere to put my mobile, reading glasses or bottled water but on the floor. Even a shelf above the bed would have been helpful, and this could very easily be arranged at little expense as a fixed wall feature. I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay or recommend The Royal Hyde Park Hotel as an overnight stay.

Handy location. Room was compact and clean although deadlock didn't work. Staff are friendly and helpful. Internet access problematic in room but available in breakfast area. I would consider staying at Royal Hyde Park Hotel again
