The hotel was nice and comfy. Staff was very helpful and polite, rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was included to our room price so we did not have any expectations, but it was very good if you like English breakfast (greasy sausages, bacon, eggs etc.) I definitely recommend Tavistock Hotel, money well spent

Tavistock Hotel was fine in terms of cleanliness, etc. I found that check in and out was fast and they had no problem with a slightly late check-out. Its location is a real bonus and noise was minimum on the 7th floor. The rooms were very hot though so you need to keep windows open all the time and the beds are a bit springy. I have stayed in hotels with higher star ratings in london and found that they were not as nice as the Tavistock. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. I am actually rather fussy about hotels and normally stay in 4 star plus so was worried at the fact that the star rating was so low, but as I have to say that I found this hotel to be sufficent. I am rating it according to its value for money rather than its luxury

Our stay at Tavistock Hotel lived up to our expectations. Helpful staff, the room cleaning service was excellent and the restaurant manager and staff know the meaning of the word service. The Tavistock is a 2 star hotel offering a 5-star service.
